Carnival is always a cultural and creative event of fun, excitement, winning new friends and renewing old ones. Piton has always been 100% involved in sustaining this art form throughout the years with people of St. Lucia an 2010 was no different.  As the Carnival season comes to a close, Piton beer’s involvement in carnival as gold sponsor has been evident in the many activities that Piton Beer sponsored from the fringe events and soca/calypso tents to the different community carnival events that surges throughout the island during the season. 

Piton continues to engage itself in all facets of our daily life and due to this overall support Piton has also embraced the celebrations of the upper echelons of society in their Ultra All-Inclusive Carnival Sunday fete held annually. This is something that is somewhat different from your average party lime; however, it is quite amazing to see how a house party turns out to be such an entertaining party for the St. Lucian carnival. This year we were graced with the presence of Brian ‘Charles’ Lara who, even but for a little while, took in some of our J’ouvert jump up celebrations. Brian spent a couple of days on island to attend the Ultra All-inclusive fete and as well made a donation towards the Holy Family Children's Home in Ciceron. This was made possible through his foundation in Trinidad honoring his parents, called the Pearl and Bunty Lara Foundation.

As Piton Beer continues to promote responsible drinking we are very pleased to note that we had a relatively crime free reveling thanks in part to our assiduous police force as well as the general public who worked hard on limiting what could have easily been filled with a series of unfortunate events, but in future people, “don’t literally break de fence” let’s take pride in what’s ours.

The different carnival bands like Just For Fun, Red Unlimited, XS, Toxik, Rituals, Police Headquarters just to name a few and the overall support of CDF for all their events.  It was an absolute pleasure working with the aforementioned and look forward to Carnival 2011. Piton’s commitment to the arts remains unmoved as we continue on through activation such as our sing off competition Piton Soca Starz and other events that relate to our culture throughout the year.  We look forward to the continued support of all the media houses.
